In 2016, Trout Haven took two May trips to Spruce Creek – and we absolutely hammered big trout. Take a look at some of the highlights above and below, or visit last year’s blog posts Spruce Creek May 2016 and Spruce Creek – A Busman’s Holiday.
Dry Flies and Streamers: Above are just a few of the beautiful fish caught on May 4 – 7 and May 21 – 24 of 2016, using dry-dropper rigs, sulphurs, and streamers. May is a great time of year for targeting both dry fly and streamer bites. Oftentimes we’ll have two rods rigged and ready to go, one for dries and one for streamers.
We have one open room left on May 4 – 7 and one open room on May 21 – 24, 2017. Don’t miss your chance to experience prime time on Spruce Creek!
